A Boy Called Hope by Lara Williamson : Book Review

Book Name : A Boy called Hope
Author : Lara Williamson
Publisher : Usborne Young Adult Publications
Pages: 300
Rating : 5 stars. MUST READ FOR CHILDREN!

REVIEW : A Boy Called Hope by Lara Williamson is one epitome of a spectacular read. Enjoyable for all ages, this book explores the emotions of a young kid, Dan Hope who just like other kids of his age, is full of Hopes. While some of his hopes are quite normal and naughty, others are quite thought provoking. A boy's search for his father in his growing years as he feels his absence more and more couldn't be ever more beautifully expressed.

The beautiful cover steals the readers eyes and we are compelled to love it, trust me! It is a print of  the thought processes of a kid and I must join my hands for the cover designer who had indeed done a fantabulous job. Lara Williamson has poured her heart and soul into her book and the reader is compelled to love her. When I closed the book, I was in tears. Such a strong message conveyed in such a simple way, to accept things and let go. The character sketch of Dan Hope is beautiful. He is made full of flesh and blood with the idiotic ideas, be it wishing his sister went to the North Pole forever, or may it be his making a monster out of a drop of tear that fell on his letter. His psychology is explained explicitly, be it by his way of friendships or his growing desperacy of finding his Dad.

I give Lara Williamson 5 stars for her amazing novel. Make sure you read her book and let me know how did you like it.
