Book Review- Promise me A million Times by Keshav Aneel

Review highlight

"A tale of eternal romance, heartbreak, friendship and support. Promise Me a Million Times is bound to make your heart cry out."

Keshav Aneel has put up an amazing storyline wrapped in a beautiful cover in his romance novel, "Promise me a Million Times." A lot of inspirational characters, two unputdownable themes and a heartbreaking climax make this book a perfect read for the romance lovers. Thus, I will speak about the story and my views in some paragraphs rather than my usual format.

First of all I would like to bring some light upon Aster. Aster is a girl who is breaking free taboos of the society to live a happy life, despite being pitied upon due to her scary past. Unlike others, her past doesn't haunt her. Rather, she is focusing on her future with an ear-to-ear smile on her face. For me, she was the hero of the story and I would love to meet her, if she exists. The other two protagonists, Charlie and Edwin are equally efficient and amazingly portrayed and what I really loved that the author has painted all the characters equally well with no imbalance between them. Supporting characters and side stories are brilliant as well, and Page 28 ought to make you feel moisture in your eyes.

I would like to appreciate that both the themes, Love and Friendship are equally balanced and the focus never blurs over the one or the other. This is a huge plus point for me because conventionally, in stories that have love and friendship as their theme, usually love is overruling. The style of writing is international and thus it would be a delight for both Indian and non-Indian writers!

I will give this book 4 out of 5 stars, and a Cadbury Perk!
