Author Interview- Divyam Kaushik

Welcome All, Today I take great honour to Interview Divyam Kaushik for his upcoming novel, Entwined Desires.

1. What is writing to you?
For me writing is a hobby turned addiction. A journey that started 4 years ago. And I write because I feel at times, that breathing is not enough.
2. As a child, what did you want to be?
I grew up watching Sachin Tendulkar on television screens, and watched the zeal amongst the crowd when he used to walk on crease for batting.
I wanted to bat like him. I wanted to become a cricketer. I wanted to play for my country. I wanted to play for India.
3. How did your debut novel happen?
I was sitting in my hostel room in DIT reading Fifty Shades when the thought occurred. Told my friends about the idea of writing, some laughed, some motivated, took story of my own life, modified them, and hence the book "Love Me Like You Do" happened.

4. Tell us about your inspiration.
Maybe I don't have any.
For now, my inspiration, my strength is Anushka Gupta. You know her well.
And I love reading R.M Drake.
5. When did you meet your co-author Lalima for Entwined Desires?
It was around August last year when I just asked her if she wants to be a part of it, and told her the plot, she liked it, and thus began the writing.
And, we have never met. It all just happened on whatsapp and e-mails.

6. What is Entwined Desires about?
Entwined Desires is basically book one of entwined trilogy. It's an erotic thriller.
The book is set in two overlapping timelines, and I guarantee that sex, murder and thrill will keep readers at the edge.
And I cannot tell more about it, at the moment.
7. Tell us something about you that we don't know.
There's no such thing I guess. 😝
You may ask me personally anything you would like to. I will tell you.
8. Ten Years hence, where do you picture yourself?
As an international/national bestseller and CEO of a million dollar designing studio. PixelR8 Studios.
